tuck. is a mobile cashback and rewards app, available on iOS and Android, that lets people earn cashback on everyday spending. Rather than collecting points or waiting for rewards to build up, users buy a cashback card through the app and get their cashback straight away, the moment the purchase is made.
tuck. works with more than 200 UK retailers spanning supermarkets, fashion, dining, entertainment and home & DIY. The app is free to use, with no subscription or membership fee.
How tuck. works
Buying a cashback card
Inside the tuck. app, users choose a retailer and buy a cashback card for that brand at full face value. Cashback, at up to a set rate for that retailer, is paid to the user instantly, credited the moment the purchase is made rather than after the card is spent.
Spending the card
Once purchased, the cashback card can be used to pay at that retailer, either in-store or online depending on the brand, in the same way as a normal gift card or voucher. No further cashback is earned when the card is spent, since the cashback was already paid out at the point of purchase. Cards cannot be topped up; once the balance is used, the user buys a new card.
Stacking with loyalty schemes
tuck. cashback can typically be used alongside a retailer's own loyalty scheme, such as Tesco Clubcard or Sainsbury's Nectar, so users can collect loyalty points on the same shop in addition to their tuck. cashback.
